|CERTIFICATION OF 50 HOURS OF SUPERVISED DRIVING (MV-262)
Every driver license applicant who is 16 or 17 years old at the time of the road test, and who has a junior learner permit, must present this certification to the DMV license examiner at the time of the road test. |GENERAL RULES FOR ALL DRIVERS WITH LEARNER PERMITS
There are general rules for all drivers of any age with learner permits. There are also additional special rules if you have a junior learner permit or a junior driver license. The general and special rules restrict where in New York State you can drive, the time of day you can drive, and in what other situations you are allowed to drive.
